Location
Covered parking garage ($30/ night) has 8’ 5” clearance to accommodate our roof box. Colton House is absolutely beautiful and a lovely place to stay. I will agree with some of the reviews that the aircon is a bit average however Texas is hot so it is working hard. As far as location it's about a 10 minute Uber and an hour walk into the city to a lot of popular Austin spots so if you don't want to catch a lot of ubers or walk this may not be the spot for you. Very nice hotel, loved the atmosphere especially the garden and the library. Very cool vibe.Studio was clean and large.

Really nice and clean room, the staff is friendly, and it has a cool looking cafe/lounge area. The room had a full fridge, plates, coffee maker, etc. The bathroom had dual sinks and a spacious walk in shower. Hotel has a small coffee shop and library style seating area that are both lovely to spend time in. The hotel was very comfortable and beautifully decorated in boutique fashion with lots of individual rooms to sit and read or chat. The cafe and bar was great in the morning for a light breakfast and for drinks in the evening.The only slight downside was no restaurant. However there was a great restaurant within 5 mins walk and downtown Austin within a mile.The staff were welcoming and friendly and helpful.
